Common Questions

How does the refilling process work?

Simply bring your clean, dry containers to the station. We weigh them, fill them with your choice of product, and then re-weigh them so you only pay for the product you take home.

What kind of containers should I bring?

You can bring any clean and dry container you have at home—glass jars, plastic bottles, or metal tins. As long as it can safely hold the product, it works for us!

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! We carefully curate our inventory to include only high-quality, non-toxic, and organic ingredients. We provide full ingredient lists for all products so you can shop with confidence.

How is the pricing calculated?

Prices are based on weight (typically per ounce). Since you are refilling your own container, you aren't paying for new packaging, which helps lower the cost of premium/organic goods.

What if I forget to bring containers?

No worries! You can grab a clean, sanitized jar from our free community bin, or choose from a variety of new glass bottles and containers available for purchase at the station.

How often do you get new products in?

We receive fresh inventory regularly to ensure West Chester Refillery Station stays fully stocked. Our team carefully monitors our supplies so you always get the highest quality goods.

Is there a minimum amount I must buy?

Not at all! One of the best parts about a refillery is that you can buy as little or as much as you need, whether it's a small sample or a gallon jug.

How do I ensure my containers are clean?

We recommend washing your containers with hot soapy water and letting them air dry completely before your visit. For food or body products, a quick rinse with rubbing alcohol can provide extra sanitization.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Not at all! You are welcome to walk in any time during our open hours. Our team is always here to help guide you through your refills whenever it is convenient for your schedule.

Are your products eco-friendly and biodegradable?

We prioritize suppliers who share our values. Most of our liquid products are biodegradable, septic-safe, and sourced from companies that use closed-loop shipping systems to reduce waste.
